Overview
Electronic Testing is the final electrical performance verification process for bare PCB boards before shipment, which is a mandatory 100% full inspection item for all bare board orders. It uses professional testing equipment to conduct a comprehensive electrical inspection of the finished PCB, to verify whether the electrical connectivity and insulation performance of the board fully meet the design requirements. This process is the final gate to ensure that the bare board has no electrical defects, and only boards that pass the full test can enter the assembly or shipment process. All Electronic Testing operations strictly follow IPC-A-600 international standards
Dual-Mode Testing System
Flying probe testing system is used for prototype orders, small-batch orders, and complex design orders
Fixture-based testing system is used for mass production orders, with high testing efficiency and stable accuracy
Testing equipment is calibrated regularly, with testing accuracy meeting the requirements of IPC international standards
Testing parameters are set according to the design schematic and customer requirements, with 100% coverage of all circuits
Testing data is automatically recorded and archived, with full traceability for each board
Continuity and Isolation Inspection
100% continuity test for all conductive circuits on the PCB, to verify that there is no open circuit defect
100% isolation test between all non-connected circuits, to verify that there is no short circuit defect
Test voltage is set according to the board design and application scenario, to ensure the accuracy of the test results
Micro-open circuit and micro-short circuit defects that are difficult to identify by other inspection methods can be detected
Unqualified boards are marked with defect coordinates, for rework or scrapping disposal
Impedance Performance Verification
100% TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) impedance test for all impedance-controlled lines on the PCB
Test is executed according to the design impedance value and tolerance requirements, with a minimum test accuracy of ±5%
Impedance test is carried out under standard temperature and humidity environment, to ensure the stability of the test results
Impedance test data is recorded for each batch, with a complete impedance test report available for customers
Unqualified impedance boards are isolated and disposed of, and will not be shipped
Insulation Resistance Testing
Insulation resistance test between circuits and between the circuit and the board base material
Test is executed under specified temperature, humidity, and voltage conditions, to verify the insulation performance of the board
High-voltage withstand test is available as an optional service according to customer requirements, to verify the safety performance of the board in high-voltage application scenarios
Insulation performance test data is recorded and archived for each batch
Boards with unqualified insulation performance are scrapped, to avoid safety risks in application
Batch Testing Traceability Management
Each tested board is marked with a unique identification code, to bind the test data
Test data including continuity test result, impedance test value, and insulation resistance is archived for each board
Batch test reports are generated for each order, including test coverage, pass rate, defect type and quantity statistics
Test records are archived for each order, with a retention period of not less than 3 years
Test data can be provided to customers upon request, with full traceability of the entire testing process
